The Town of Saluda Planning Commission will hold a hearing at 5:30 P.M. on March 30, 2021, At Saluda Town Hall for the rezoning of the following:

Tax Map # 079-17-01-007 & 079-17-01-012 from Town Center to Highway Commercial

 The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a hearing at 5:45 P.M. (or immediately after the Planning Commission meeting) on March 30, 2021, At Saluda Town Hall on the following appeal:

 Appeal No. 2021-02v by Mr. Brett Rodgers to allow the reduction of building setbacks from 15’ to 22’ which will make for safer driving conditions on the property. The second request is reducing the landscape buffer for additional employee parking., on the property line at 300 N. Main St. Tax Map # 079-17-01-006 which is a zoned Town Center.

 Appeal No.2021-01v by Mrs. Debra Palmer (or Agent) to allow the items listed below on her property located on TM# 079-17-01-007 & 012

  • Reduce minimum lot size. In commercial zoning, the minimum lot size is 35,000 SF. We show approximately 30,000 SF on the corner lot.

  • Reduce side setback from 10’ to 5’ on the Palmer property line between the corner site and the corner site.

  • Appeals are contingent on the sale and rezoning of her property

 Appeal No. 2020-01v by Mr. Joshua Morton to allow the placement of a fence in the rear yard, on the property line at 309 N. Main St. Tax Map # 079-16-13-013 zoned Town Center.
